Manizales Avocado Tour
This tour reveals the secrets of avocados, one of Colombia's main export products. Pick-up is at 8 am from your hotel in Manizales.
The tour includes a visit to an agro-ecological farm, where you will learn about the cultivation of avocados and the practices that led to the farm receiving a certificate of Good Environmental Practices.
You will tour the Hass avocado plantations and discover different types of avocados grown in Colombia, such as Papelillo, Santana, Semil, and Choquette, which you will be able to taste.
Additionally, the tour features a guacamole workshop, where you will learn to make this sauce in the traditional way. After the workshop, you will taste the guacamole prepared during the session.
At the end of the tour, you will be returned to your hotel in Manizales by 3 pm.
