Otún Quimbaya Sanctuary Hiking Trip
Pick up will be at your hotel in Manizales at the designated time to head south towards the Otún Quimbaya Fauna and Flora Sanctuary, located in the department of Risaralda.
After a two-hour drive, we will arrive at this nature reserve in the Cordillera Central of the Andean Region of Colombia, dedicated to the conservation of various species of birds, insects, small mammals, and plants, some of which are endangered.
The journey includes a 2 km walk through the Andean rainforest, which is a manageable route where we can appreciate the landscape.
During the walk, there will be a stop for a regional lunch that includes a meal and a drink.
Afterwards, we will continue with a nature walk.
