Explore the flora and fauna of the Andean rainforest through a hiking trip in the Otún Quimbaya Sanctuary, where you will encounter various species such as monkeys, tapirs, and tanagers.

Pickup will be at your hotel in Manizales at the designated time, followed by a journey south to the Otún Quimbaya Fauna and Flora Sanctuary in Risaralda.
After a two-hour drive, we will arrive at the nature reserve in the Cordillera Central of Colombia. This protected area focuses on the conservation of various species of birds, insects, small mammals, and plants, some of which are endangered.
We will embark on a 2 km walk through the Andean rainforest, suitable for all levels, allowing us to appreciate the lush landscapes of the ecosystem.
During the walk, there will be a break for a regional lunch, including a meal and a drink.
Afterwards, we will continue with a tranquil nature walk.
Participants will observe exotic birds such as the moustached tororoi, multicoloured tanagers, and Torrentes paca, along with mammals including monkeys, silver foxes, and wolf guaguas, the second largest rodent in Colombia.
The trip concludes with a return to Manizales, where guests will be dropped off at their hotel after a total duration of 7 hours.
