Pereira Excursion + Banana Farm Visit

Pickup will be at your hotel in Manizales at 8 am, then we will head south to Pereira, the capital of Risaralda.

On the way, we'll stop to admire the pineapple fields surrounding Pereira. Later, we will taste a typical dish of the region, arepa de choclo, a corn tortilla with salsa.

Afterward, we'll travel to Pereira, known for its coffee aroma and as the most populated city in the Coffee Triangle. We will stroll through its historic center and visit key spots: Plaza Simón Bolívar, home to the statue of the independence hero; Our Lady of Poverty Cathedral; and the César Gaviria Trujillo Viaduct.

Next, we will head to the outskirts to visit a banana farm and learn about the secrets of cultivating this fruit. You will discover how they produce the sweet and creamy pulp during the tour.

Following the farm tour, we will return to Manizales and drop you off at your hotel around 3 pm.
