We'll explore the Nevado de Santa Isabel in its entirety on this excursion from Manizales, providing opportunities for unique photographs of one of the highest mountains in the Cordillera Central of Colombia.

After picking you up at your hotel in Manizales at 4 am, we'll proceed to the Nevado de Santa Isabel. On the way, you will enjoy the mountain scenery, including geological formations, waterfalls, and primary forests.

If the weather permits, we may see the Andean condor in flight, highlighting the biodiversity of this region near Villa María. The Nevado de Santa Isabel is home to many lakes and one of the largest glacier masses in Colombia.

We will pause for a break and breakfast before continuing toward the residual glaciers of the Nevado de Santa Isabel. Please be aware that the climb is challenging, requiring approximately three hours to ascend and two hours to descend. A specialized guide will accompany you throughout the hike.

Once we reach the highest accessible point, we will begin our descent, enjoying the unique Colombian landscape. At the base, we will have a comforting lunch before taking the bus back to Manizales, with an expected arrival at your hotel around 7 pm.
