At 6:30 am, pickup will be made at your hotel in Manta. We will travel by minibus to Machalilla National Park, a protected area on the Ecuadorian coast. The journey includes coastal views until we reach Puerto López, where we will board a boat to Plata Island.

We will depart the coast of Manabí for Plata Island, also known as "the small Galapagos." Exotic birds may be observed, and depending on the season, humpback whales can be seen, as they travel from Antarctica every summer.

Upon arrival at Plata Island, we will see steep volcanic cliffs and diverse vegetation. We will discuss the island's famous inhabitants, including sea turtles, highlighting its oasis of biodiversity.

On the return trip to Puerto López, lunch will be served onboard, featuring a local dish and dessert. Afterward, there will be free time to explore the town before boarding the minibus for the return journey to Manta, arriving at the hotel by 2:30 pm.
