Maputo Bike Rental

Between 7 am and 7 pm, you can rent a bike in Maputo for four hours. Collect the bike from number 417 on Avenida Kwame Nkrumah, where you will receive a helmet, lock, and map of the city. Explore the capital of Mozambique as you wish.

We recommend heading south to see significant landmarks such as the European-influenced central train station, built in the early 20th century. A few blocks north of the station is Independence Square (Praça da Independência), where you can view Maputo City Hall and the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception. Nearby, explore Iron House, designed for the governor of Mozambique, and the Tunduru Gardens, established in 1885 by British gardener Thomas Honney.

Another option is to cycle to Rua dos Lusiadas, home to the Natural History Museum and the Museum of Geology. After four hours of exploration, return the bike to the initial meeting point.
