Mozambique Arts and Crafts Workshop
We'll meet at 8:30 am at 417 Kwame Nkrumah Avenue in Maputo for a one and a half hour workshop. We will learn traditional fabric dyeing techniques such as batik.
The instructors will demonstrate how to colour fabric using the African batik method, which requires dexterity and creativity. Participants will keep the fabrics they create.
After the first workshop, there will be a 10-minute break before the next session. Following this break, we will have an hour-long arame crafts workshop, focusing on painting with bright colours.
The arame craft workshop will conclude at 11:30 am.
