On this hiking route along the coast of Mar del Plata, we'll discover the urban nature reserves located in this area of Buenos Aires Province.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Centro Comercial del Puerto shopping center, located next to the docks of Mar del Plata.

Once gathered, we'll embark on a hiking route to explore the urban nature reserves along the coast. With a Spanish-speaking guide, we'll follow a low-difficulty route starting at the Mar del Plata Port Nature Reserve, home to a notable colony of sea lions.

After learning about this important urban nature reserve, we'll observe the ecosystem extending to the lagoons of Punta Mogotes. As we walk along the coastal area, we'll check the environmental richness of the surroundings and its transformation over time. The guide will share stories about the evolution of these landscapes. A picnic will be provided, including a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a bottle of mineral water.

We will then make our way back via the extensive beaches of Punta Mogotes. The final stop will be at the Museo del Hombre del Puerto, where we'll explore the historical, cultural, and environmental evolution of the coast of Mar del Plata and its reserves over the decades.

The tour will conclude upon returning to the meeting point after 4 hours of activity.
