On this hiking route along the coast of Mar del Plata, we'll discover the urban nature reserves located in this area of the province of Buenos Aires.

Description

At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Centro Comercial del Puerto shopping center, next to the docks of Mar del Plata.

Once together, we'll set off on a hiking route to visit the urban nature reserves on the coast of Mar del Plata. Accompanied by a Spanish-speaking guide, we will follow a low-difficulty route starting with the Mar del Plata Port Nature Reserve, home to a colony of sea lions.

After exploring this significant urban nature reserve, we'll observe the ecosystem extending to the lagoons of Punta Mogotes. We will examine the coastal area's environmental richness and its human-influenced transformation over time. The guide will share stories about the evolution of these landscapes. A picnic consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a bottle of mineral water will also be included.

We will return to the starting point along the extensive beaches of Punta Mogotes. Our final stop will be at the Museo del Hombre del Puerto, where we will learn about the historical, cultural, and environmental evolution of the coast of Mar del Plata and its reserves. The tour will conclude as we return to the meeting point after 4 hours of activity.
