- Geöffnet am Mo, Mi, Fr, So
On this hiking route along the coast of Mar del Plata, we'll discover the urban nature reserves located in this area of the province of Buenos Aires.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Centro Comercial del Puerto shopping center, located next to the docks of Mar del Plata.
Once we're all together, we'll set off on a hiking route to get to know the urban nature reserves on the coast of Mar del Plata. Together with a Spanish-speaking guide, we'll follow a low-difficulty route that will begin with a visit to the Mar del Plata Port Nature Reserve, which is home to a colony of sea lions.
After learning about this important urban nature reserve, we'll observe how this ecosystem extends to the lagoons of Punta Mogotes. As we walk along this coastal area, we'll check out the environmental richness of the surroundings and its human-induced transformation over time. The guide will share stories about the evolution of these landscapes. A picnic consisting of a sandwich, a piece of fruit, and a bottle of mineral water will be provided.
We'll then begin making our way back with a walk along the extensive beaches of Punta Mogotes. The last stop will take place at the Museo del Hombre del Puerto, where we'll explore the historical, cultural, and environmental evolution of the coast and its reserves.
The tour will finish as we return to the meeting point after 4 hours of activity.
