San Fernando Reserve Tour

The San Fernando National Reserve combines riparian forest and desert landscapes, offering a unique natural experience. Departing from San Juan de Marcona, we will explore this privileged area.

Starting at 9:30 am from Andrés Avelino Cáceres Street, we will head towards the reserve, enjoying scenic views of the bay of San Nicolas along the way.

Upon arrival, an introductory session on the area's wildlife and morphology awaits. From a viewpoint, we can observe colonies of Humboldt penguins and sea lions.

After a fulfilling lunch comprising a Creole dish, fruit, and a soft drink, we will relax on the beach before engaging in sea urchin gathering to prepare our own ceviche. Witness the intriguing "Elephant's Trunk" rock formation.

Our journey continues to a Andean condor viewpoint, where we might spot Guanay cormorants, common gallinules, Inca terns, or pelicans. The day concludes with our return to San Juan de Marcona by 6:30 pm.
