3-Day Sahara Desert Tour

Immerse yourself in the most surprising part of the Moroccan desert, and contemplate the contrasts offered by its different landscapes as you discover valleys, mountains, and historic towns.

Tour Details

Day 1: Marrakech - Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - The Dadès Valley

Depart from Marrakech towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, 7414 feet (2,260 meters) high. Visit the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah for approximately 2.5 hours, followed by a half-hour stop at Taourirt Kasbah. Continue through “The Road of a Thousand Kasbahs" and the Valley of the Roses to arrive at the Dadès Valley for the night.

Day 2: Dadès Valley - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

After breakfast, travel from the Dadès Valley to the Todgha Gorges. Proceed to Merzouga, passing through the Jorf palm grove for lunch, and arrive in Erfoud. In Merzouga, swap vehicles for camels to reach the Bedouin camp for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Tizi n'Tichka - Ouarzazate - Marrakesh

Experience sunrise in the desert, followed by breakfast. Travel through the Tafilalet palm grove and Rissani village, arriving at Alnif. Cross the Anti-Atlas range, passing through Tizi n'Tichka and Tinghir, reaching Kalaat M'Gouna for lunch before returning to Marrakesh by around 8:30 pm.

Accommodation

On the first night, stay in Dades at Dar Essyaha, Hotel Babylon, Hotel Le Vieux Chateau, Kasbah Tifawen, or similar. On the second night, stay in Merzouga camp with distinctions in bathroom facilities between standard and superior options. Both categories offer double, triple, or family room options, with a single supplement for solo travelers.

Hotel Pickup

For Medina stays, meet at a designated point. For hotels outside the Medina, free pickups are available, with a supplement of 10EUR to 40EUR based on distance.
