3-Day Sahara Desert Tour

Immerse yourself in the most surprising part of the Moroccan desert, and contemplate the contrasts offered by its various landscapes as you discover valleys, mountains, and historic towns.

Tour Details

Day 1: Marrakech - Aït Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - The Dadès Valley

We'll depart from Marrakech and head towards Ouarzazate, crossing the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi n'Tichka mountain pass, 7414 feet (2,260 meters) high. Our first stop will be the Aït Benhaddou Kasbah, where you'll have approximately 2.5 hours to explore and have lunch. Next, we'll visit Ouarzazate for roughly half an hour to admire the Taourirt Kasbah. Proceeding along the “Road of a Thousand Kasbahs," we'll cross the Valley of the Roses to reach the Dadès Valley for the night.

Day 2: Dadès Valley - Todgha Gorges - Merzouga

Post-breakfast, we'll travel to the Todgha Gorges, then proceed to Merzouga, stopping for lunch and passing by the Jorf palm grove. Upon arrival, we'll exchange motor vehicles for camels to reach the Bedouin camp where we'll spend the night, enjoying a traditional dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga - Rissani - Alnif - Tizi n'Tichka - Ouarzazate - Marrakesh

We will start the day with sunrise viewing, breakfast at the camp, and then depart through Tafilalet and Rissani, continuing over the Anti-Atlas. We will arrive back in Marrakech around 8:30 pm, stopping for lunch at Kalaat M'Gouna.

Standard Shared Accommodation: Shared hotel room in Dades and haima in the desert, with a maximum of 4 participants. Not suitable for children under 18.Standard Private Accommodation: Private hotel room in Dades and private haimas for up to 4 people.Superior Private Accommodation: Same as Standard Private, but with private bathrooms and upgraded meals, accommodating up to 5 people.

First night stays in Dades, and second night in a haima camp in Merzouga.
