Explore the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas on a day trip to the picturesque Imlil village and the famous Kik Plateau.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, hotel pick-up in Marrakech will take place. Participants will then travel in an off-roading vehicle or minibus through the Imlil Valley.

The excursion starts with a journey through the Haouz plain towards the Agafay desert, with a first stop at Lalla Takerkoust Lake for a 30-minute camel ride. Alternatively, guests can enjoy a cup of mint tea in a Berber tent.

Continuing to Aguergour, participants will enjoy Moroccan mint tea with a local family, learning about their traditions and the customs of this nomadic village while exploring the Kik Plateau.

Before reaching Imlil, the tour includes a visit to the small town of Asni with an optional exploration of the local Amazigh market on Saturdays.

A guided tour of Imlil follows, showcasing its traditional buildings adapted to the High Atlas terrain. After an hour, the group will return to the vehicle and drive through various Berber areas like Aroumed, with opportunities to admire Jebel Toubkal.

A traditional Moroccan meal in Tagadirt hosted by an Amazigh family is offered. Following lunch, a short walk around the village is planned before returning to Marrakech.

The tour ends after approximately 9 hours of sightseeing back at the starting point.
