Explore the stunning landscapes of the High Atlas on a day trip to the picturesque Imlil village and the famous Kik Plateau.

Day Trip Details

At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech and embark on an off-roading vehicle or minibus through the Imlil Valley.

We will travel through the Haouz plain toward the Agafay desert, stopping at the man-made Lalla Takerkoust Lake for a 30-minute camel ride. Alternatively, you may stay in the Berber tent and enjoy a cup of mint tea.

Next, we'll visit the settlement of Aguergour, where you will enjoy Moroccan mint tea with a local family and learn about their traditions. Experience the breathtaking Kik Plateau before heading to the village of Imlil.

We will also stop in the small town of Asni, where, if the tour takes place on Saturday, we will visit the local Amazigh market.

The guided tour of Imlil includes a local guide showcasing its typical buildings. After an hour, we will return to the vehicle and drive through various Berber areas, such as Aroumed, while admiring Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa.

Before concluding the tour, you may enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal in Tagadirt in the home of an Amazigh family (not included in the tour price). After a short walk around the village, we will head back to Marrakech.

The tour lasts approximately 9 hours before returning to the starting point.
