Northern Marrakech Hot Air Balloon Ride

Description

Leave Marrakech behind and rise above the surrounding landscapes in a hot-air balloon. From the air, take in views of the city and the Atlas Mountains during a quiet flight over Morocco.

Itinerary

The experience begins with hotel pickup in Marrakech, followed by an approximately one-hour drive in an off-road vehicle to Jebilet. On arrival, enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea and juice while the balloon is prepared.

Once it is ready, board the balloon for a flight of about one hour. As you gain altitude, look down over Marrakech and admire the Atlas Mountains from above.

After landing, receive a flight certificate and share Moroccan tea while reflecting on the journey. The route then continues to a traditional Berber tent for a selection of fresh local products. Finally, travel back to Marrakech by off-road vehicle.

Practical information

When booking, choose between the first flight of the day and the later departure. Start times for the first flight vary by season:

The second flight departs at 7 am throughout the year. It is the more affordable option, although the sunrise itself will not be visible. For operational reasons, breakfast and tea may be served either before or after the flight, depending on the best time for takeoff.
