If you're staying in Marrakech and want to explore the desert at your leisure, you can book any of our private tours. These tours are 2 to 4 days long and include pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, transport in a luxury private vehicle with an English-speaking driver and standard or premium accommodation.

Here's what each trip includes:

2 Day Zagora Desert Tour

This trip to the Zagora Sahara Desert includes visits to traditional Amazigh communities, camel rides, and an overnight stay in a traditional Amazigh haima. The next day includes an early desert sunrise and a return to Marrakech via the Drâa Valley and Agdez, with a stop at Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah Taourirt.

3 Day Merzouga Desert Tour

This tour includes a visit to Kasbah de Ait-Ben-Haddou and the Kasbah of Taourirt, an overnight stay in the Dadès Gorges, and exploration of various landscapes leading to Merzouga Desert. It concludes with a return trip to Marrakech, with an option to end in Fez.

4 Day Merzouga Desert Tour

This trip includes visits to the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, the Dadès Valley, and a camel ride in Merzouga. The final day includes a visit to the Atlas Film Studios and ends in Marrakech.

Accommodation

On the 2-day trip to Zagora, accommodations are in a desert camp with shared facilities, while the 3 and 4-day trips offer standard or superior accommodations in 3-4 star hotels or desert camps, with details provided for each category. Prices are per person sharing a double room, with options for family rooms available.

The Kasbah of Taourirt in Ouarzazate is temporarily closed. However, you can take photos from outside.
