Calanques National Park Kayaking Tour

Description

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at 47 Impasse du Dr Bonfils and proceed by minibus to the kayak launch point. After a brief introduction on kayak and oar usage, we will start the kayaking tour of Calanques National Park, a notable area of the French Riviera in the south of France.

We will first navigate along the coast of the islands of Frioul and Riou. The itinerary may include stops at the Calanque de Sorimou, Port Miou, or En Vau, depending on sea and wind conditions. There is also the option to visit the coves of Morgiou or Sugiton.

Regardless of our route, we will paddle in the turquoise waters of these distinct sites, which contrast with the ochre hues of the cliffs. A short stop will be included for a dip in the Mediterranean waters. We will then return to our starting point, concluding the tour after approximately 8 hours together with a return to the initial meeting location in Marseille.
