Description

We'll meet at the indicated time on Avenue du Prado. From there, we'll start a guided trekking tour through the Calanques National Park.

These famous coves in Marseille are a major natural attraction in southern France. During the hike, we will identify various botanical species, including pines, oaks, laurels, thyme, junipers, and others. The hike lasts about two and a half hours, covering approximately 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) with an altitude change of 500 meters (1,640 feet).

To appreciate the Calanques, we'll ascend to the Col des Chèvres (Goat Pass) at an altitude of 1,050 ft (320 meters). At the summit, we'll enjoy the views while having a picnic lunch in nature.

Next, we'll descend to Callelongue, a nearby picturesque harbor. You'll have time for a refreshing swim if desired!

Finally, the tour concludes after 4 hours of trekking. After visiting Callelongue, we will guide you on how to reach the center of Marseille by public transport.
