Noailles Guided Tour

At 2 pm, we'll meet on La Canebière and start our guided tour of the Noailles neighbourhood. From this central spot in Marseille, we'll walk through Noailles' winding streets while discovering the origins of the Marseillaise anthem.

We'll learn about the history of this neighbourhood, discussing shops established over 200 years ago, gentrification, the struggle for decent housing, and the tragedy of the Rue d'Aubagne. One of our stops will be the vibrant Capuchin Market, where you can find exotic ingredients from the East and Africa.

After 2 hours of exploring Noailles, we'll finish the tour at 4 pm back at the starting point.
