Noailles Guided Tour
At 2 pm, we'll meet on La Canebière and start our guided tour of the Noailles neighbourhood.
From this central spot in Marseille, we'll start walking through Noailles' winding streets and discover how the Marseillaise came into being.
We'll learn about the history of this neighbourhood, discuss shops established over 200 years ago, gentrification, the struggle for decent housing, and the tragedy of the Rue d'Aubagne.
One of our stops will be the vibrant Capuchin Market, where you can find exotic ingredients from the East and the African continent.
After 2 hours of exploring Noailles, we'll finish the tour at 4 pm back at the starting point.
