On our Sormiou Calanque Hiking Activity from Marseille, we'll walk to one of the largest coves in the Calanques National Park.

At the scheduled time, we'll start our hike from the Chemin de Morgiou car park. We'll head towards Sormiou creek, a notable feature in the Calanques National Park.

During this 3-mile (5-kilometre) hike, we'll traverse a path through a shrub forest, leading us to the Sormiou Ridge. From this rocky outcrop, we will enjoy views of the nearby massif, the Mediterranean Sea, and the city of Marseille.

Our route will then descend to the cove of Sormiou, where we will visit its small fishing village and beach. You will have the option to take a swim in the turquoise water of the cove.

After our swim, we will begin our return journey. We'll take a different route, highlighting the nature, history, and culture of the Calanques National Park, a significant protected area in south-eastern France.

We will return to the starting point three and a half hours after departure, concluding our hiking activity.
