Martina Franca Private Tour

We'll meet up in picturesque Piazza XX Settembre square, where we'll begin our fantastic walking tour of the historic center of Martina Franca. This route will immerse us in the fascinating history of this town in the Puglia region.

We'll pass through the San Stefano Gate, one of the baroque porticoes of the ancient city walls. We'll then stroll through the street until we reach Piazza Roma square, where we'll admire the façade of the magnificent Palazzo Ducale, where the Caracciolo family once lived. We'll tell you about the power that these dukes held during the glory years of Martina Franca.

We'll continue walking until we reach Piazza del Plebiscito, where the Basilica of San Martino, an 18th-century structure replacing an earlier Romanesque church, awaits us. The Baroque façade of this temple will grab your attention.

In the Piazza del Plebiscito square, you'll also find the University of Martina Franca and the iconic clock tower. Afterward, we will continue walking through the narrow streets of this city to admire its baroque and rococo palaces. Remember to bring your camera to capture a permanent memory of these monuments!

After two hours of walking, we'll finish the tour next to the beautiful church of San Domenico.
