Bike Tour of Mascota

We'll meet at your chosen time at the entrance to the Temple of the Precious Blood. From there, we'll begin our bike tour of Mascota.

We will cycle around this structure to explore its unfinished walls and well-tended gardens. We'll bike through cobblestone streets to admire Mascota's adobe houses and arrive at the main square, where we will find a Mudejar-style wrought-iron pavilion.

We'll stop at the Church of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores to view its baroque and neoclassical façade and three-part tower. Continuing our tour, we'll reach the Archaeological Museum, which houses over 200 objects from the indigenous people of the area.

We will bike up to the Cerrito de la Cruz, located 1 kilometre from the centre of Mascota, where we'll dismount to enjoy the views of this Jalisco town.

On our return to the old town, we'll stop at a traditional tavern to taste raicilla, a local mezcal drink. After two hours of cycling, we will conclude the activity back at the starting point.
