Description

When you book the Sassi di Matera City Card, you can choose from several options regarding the number of attractions included. Each option includes an audio guide and an interactive map for download.

Tourist card for 4 attractions

This option allows access to four monuments in the Sasso Caveoso and Sasso Barisano districts. Included attractions are the Madonna delle Grazie rock church, Casa Grotta (cave house), San Antonio Abate cave church, and Museum of San Giorgio.

Tourist card for 5 attractions

This option grants access to five attractions, including those mentioned previously, plus Casa Cava.

Tourist card for 6 attractions

The 6 attractions card includes all previously mentioned monuments, along with the underground Matera Sum hypogeum.

How does it work?

The Sassi di Matera City Card is activated upon first use at one of the attractions. The card is valid for 48 hours; for example, if used on Tuesday at 1 pm, it is valid until Thursday at 1 pm.

Collection

After purchasing the card, collect it from Alessandro Volta, 3/5, Matera. Office hours are:

Monday to Saturday: 9 am - 6 pm

Sunday: 9 am - 1 pm
