Cueva de la Plata Caving Trip

See amazing stalactites and stalagmites up close when you take this caving trip to the enchanting Cueva de la Plata from Puerto de Mazarron. This is an unforgettable experience for your holiday in Spain!

What to expect from the experience?

After meeting at the Alamillo gas station at 9:30 am, we will head to the entrance of the Cueva de la Plata. Upon arrival, we will equip ourselves with the necessary gear, including helmets.

For four hours, we will explore the various spaces of this cave, witnessing the subterranean landscape formed over thousands of years. Participants will learn about the role of water in creating the karstic formations. Information about rivers and underground water flows will be provided as we encounter stalactites and stalagmites .

After exploring the limestone galleries, we will return to the surface, concluding our adventure, and arrive back at the initial meeting point by 1:30 pm.

Who can take part in the activity?

People over 50 years old are not allowed to participate in this caving tour.Individuals with obesity or claustrophobia issues will also be unable to join for safety reasons related to the conditions inside the cave.
