Durango Day Trip
After picking you up at 6 am from your hotel in Mazatlan, we will drive north on the Durango highway, passing over the Baluarte Bridge, one of the tallest cable-stayed bridges in the world. The drive takes approximately 90 minutes, leading us to Durango, located in the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains.
The first stop will be at the Francisco Villa Museum, dedicated to Pancho Villa, a key figure of the Mexican Revolution. Next, we will admire the city from its iconic cable car, offering views of the old town, and then explore the area to see its colonial buildings, including the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Around midday, we will pause for a picnic lunch featuring local products, after which we will continue to stroll through the historic center of Durango, with notable sights including the Plaza del IV Centenario. We will conclude the tour and return to Mazatlan, with hotel arrival scheduled for 6 pm.
