La Noria Mezcal Tour

Join us to learn all the secrets of how agave or maguey distillates are made on this mezcal tour through La Noria, a town with a rich historical past.

Tour Details

At 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Mazatlán to head towards La Noria, an area known for its mezcal production.

During the visit to this small town, famous for being the center of the La Noria Revolution against President Benito Juárez in 1871, we will pass by iconic sites such as the church, central plaza, and cemetery. A stop at a local restaurant will allow us to try some local products. After learning about the town’s history, we will visit hacienda Los Osuna, the second most important mezcal producer in Mexico.

Participants will learn about the agave or maguey plant and the production of mezcal, including the history of the old farms called 'vinatas', which have been operational since the 19th century.

We will see the distillates produced in this vinata, which have won awards, and have an opportunity to taste these liqueurs.

Finally, we will return to Mazatlán, arriving around 3 pm.
