Tour Details
At 9 am we'll pick you up at your hotel in Mazatlán to head towards La Noria, an area in the south of Sinaloa known for mezcal production.
We'll visit this small town, notable for the La Noria Revolution, a political-military movement against President Benito Juárez in 1871. The tour includes iconic sites such as the church, central plaza, and cemetery, with a stop at a local restaurant to try some local products. Afterward, we'll visit hacienda Los Osuna, the second most important mezcal producer in Mexico.
Learn about the cultivation of the agave or maguey plant and the production of mezcal. These old farms, known as 'vinatas', have operated since the 19th century.
We will see the distillates produced in this vinata, which have won several awards, and there will be an opportunity to taste these liqueurs.
Finally, we'll return to Mazatlán, arriving around 3 pm.
