Mdina Cathedral & Museum Ticket
St. Paul's Cathedral is the primary Catholic religious temple in Mdina. This historic Baroque-style building dates back to the end of the 17th century.
The facade of the temple is simple, while the interior features colorful frescoes, polished marble, Irish wood altarpieces, stained-glass windows, and elegant statues.
During your visit, you can learn about the history of the cathedral of Mdina through information panels in the temple. The building is traditionally said to have been erected on the site where St. Publius lived, recognized for turning Malta into the first Christian nation in the West.
The entrance ticket also grants access to the Cathedral Museum, annexed to the temple. Here, you will find a large collection of Church-acquired objects, including silver sculptures, ancient coins, and engravings by Albrecht Dürer, a renowned artist of the German Renaissance.
