St. Paul's Cathedral is the primary Catholic religious temple in Mdina, with origins dating back to the end of the 17th century. The exterior facade is modest, while the interior features colorful frescoes, polished marble, Irish wood altarpieces, stained-glass windows, and statues. During your visit, you can read information panels about the cathedral's history, including its establishment on the site where St. Publius lived, recognized for turning Malta into the first Christian nation in the West.
