At 8 am, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Boca del Rio before heading to the coastal town of Alvarado.
Alvarado is located at the mouth of the Blanco and Papaloapan rivers, where the main industry is fishing. A guided stroll will cover the history of Pedro de Alvarado, founder of the city.
A boat ride on the Papaloapan River follows, allowing you to enjoy the lush green landscapes along the banks.
Next, you'll visit the city of Tlacotalpan, showcasing a blend of Caribbean and Spanish culture. A guided tour will cover key sites such as the Church of the Virgin of the Candelaria and the House-Museum of Agustín Lara.
After exploration, a second boat ride on the Papaloapan River will be offered, along with approximately 2 hours of free time for lunch to experience Tlacotalpan's gastronomy in local restaurants.
