Coffee Tour of Coatepec

Between 9 am and 9:20 am, we will pick you up at your hotel in Boca del Río, and head to the city of Coatepec.

The first stop will be at a coffee farm to learn about the origin of coffee. We will see how the fruit seeds are collected and roasted, following the entire process until the product reaches our homes.

Next, we will visit the old Café Bola de Oro mill, which has been a market leader for over 40 years. Here, we will learn about the evolution of the machinery involved in coffee production.

Throughout the day, we will participate in a coffee tasting where you will learn to differentiate the nuances, aromas, and flavors of different types of beans. To conclude the experience, we will visit the Pacho Nuevo hacienda, also known as the hacienda of Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios.

After this final visit, we will return to the minibus and take you back to your hotel in Boca del Río between 8 pm and 8:30 pm.
