Visit the El Faro neighbourhood of Medellín and find out all about its fascinating origins on this guided tour with breathtaking views.
El Faro Neighbourhood Tour
At 9 am, we'll meet at the Poblado station and take the tram to the Bicentenario station. Our first stop will be the Placita de Flórez, where the oldest market in the city is located. Here we'll get to try some local fruits!
Then, we'll hop on a bus that will take us to the El Faro neighborhood, located in Comuna 8. We'll tour the area and find out all about its fascinating origins. The district is named after the spectacular views it offers over the valley.
As we explore the streets, we'll see how its inhabitants live and head through a forest until we reach the top of the Pan de Azúcar hill to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.
At the end of the trip, we'll take the bus back to the starting point, arriving by around 1:30 pm.
