El Tajín & Papantla Day Trip

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Boca del Río and head north to El Tajín.

This archaeological area is one of the best-conserved examples of the Totonac culture. You will see the impressive Los Nichos Pyramid and learn about this important ancient Mexican civilization.

After exploring the ruins, we'll go to an area with multiple restaurants, where you will have approximately an hour and a half for lunch (not included).

After lunch, we will visit the El Tajín Museum, where your guide will provide insights about the Totonac culture, including their lifestyle and traditions.

Our next stop will be in the city of Papantla, where you'll enjoy a guided tour of emblematic sites, including the cathedral and a Totonac mural.

Finally, the tour will conclude, and we will drop you back at your hotel in Boca del Río at approximately 8:30 pm.
