We'll meet at the chosen meeting point and then head east to Guatapé, a journey of approximately two and a half hours through the mountainous landscapes of eastern Antioquia.

On the way, we'll stop for breakfast with two options and a vegetarian choice. Our next stop is the Piedra de El Peñol, or El Peñón of Guatapé, an enormous monolith over 200 meters (656 feet) tall. Here, you'll have an hour and a half of free time to climb the 740 steps for panoramic views of the Peñol Reservoir.

Next, we’ll enjoy a full traditional lunch with three different dishes. Following lunch, a 40-minute rumbero boat ride on the Peñol reservoir will allow you to appreciate the festive atmosphere and surroundings.

Finally, we’ll have a guided walking tour of Guatapé, discovering emblematic landmarks like the Church of Our Lady of Carmen and the colorful Plaza de los Zócalos. Afterward, you'll have one hour of free time to explore. We will return to Medellín after a 12-hour excursion.

Lunch

You’ll have the choice of three menu options for lunch:

Menu 1: rice, salad, potatoes, patacón, and trout.Menu 2: the same as Menu 1, but with grilled chicken.Menu 3: bandeja paisa.

A vegetarian menu is available upon request, including bean soup, rice, salad, patacón, eggs, avocado, and arepas, served with aguapanela.

Children under 4 years old go free on this tour, but an insurance charge of 1.50EUR applies for each child.
