Pick up from your hotel in Boca del Rio at 8 am, followed by a drive to Santiago Tuxtla. This town houses the largest Olmec head in the south of the country. A stroll through Benito Juarez Central Park leads to the monument, where a guide will explain its history.

Next, travel to Eyipantla waterfall, where a gentle hike through jungle vegetation leads to a viewing point of the 160-ft high waterfall.

After visiting the waterfall, proceed to the town of Catemaco for a boat ride on Laguna Encantada (Enchanting Lake). Navigate among mangroves and discover islands populated with spider monkeys, macaques, and numerous native birds.

Following the boat ride, you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time for dining at local restaurants (not included).
