Los Tuxtlas and Catemaco Trip
We will pick you up from your hotel in Boca del Rio at 8 am and travel to Santiago Tuxtla.
This town is known for the largest Olmec head in the south of the country. We will walk through Benito Juarez Central Park to the stone monument, where a guide will explain its history.
Next, we will drive to Eyipantla waterfall, where we will take a gentle hike through the jungle to reach the 160-ft high waterfall.
After visiting the waterfall, we will proceed to Catemaco for a boat ride on the Laguna Encantada. We will sail among the mangroves and explore islands populated with spider monkeys, macaques, and various native birds.
Following the boat ride, you will have approximately 1.5 hours of free time for lunch at local restaurants (not included).
Afterward, we will return to Boca del Río, dropping you at your hotel at 8:30 pm.
