Naolinco Franciscan Route Trip

Pick-up at your hotel in Boca del Río is scheduled between 8 am and 8:20 am. We will then head into the scenic green landscapes of the Sierra de Naolinco mountain range. Enjoy stunning views from the minibus during the journey.

Several stops will be made along the way, including visits to the renowned Xalapa Fortress and the ruins of an old abandoned church.

Upon arrival in the picturesque village named after the Sierra de Naolinco, a guided tour will take place, covering key landmarks such as the church of San Mateo Apóstol and the Casa de la Cultura.

A one-hour break will follow, allowing you to dine at traditional restaurants in the village, known for its unique blend of traditional Mexican and colonial cuisine.

After recharging, we will visit the Naolinco Market to explore the famous leather handicrafts. You can observe craftsmen at work and purchase souvenirs of your visit.

After the market visit, we will return to your hotel in Boca del Río, arriving around 6 pm.
