Naolinco Franciscan Route Trip

We will pick you up at your hotel in Boca del Rio between 8 am and 8:20 am. From there, we will head into the Sierra de Naolinco mountain range, enjoying stunning views from the minibus.

Along the way, we will make several stops, visiting the Xalapa Fortress and the ruins of an old abandoned church.

Eventually, we will arrive at the village named after the Sierra de Naolinco. Here, we will take a guided tour and visit landmarks such as the church of San Mateo Apóstol and the Casa de la Cultura.

We will then take a one-hour break for lunch at one of the traditional restaurants in the village, where you can enjoy the local cuisine that blends traditional Mexican and colonial influences.

After lunch, we will visit the Naolinco Market to see the leather handicrafts for which the town is known. You can explore the stalls and see how craftsmen create their products, with the opportunity to purchase souvenirs.

After the market visit, we will return to your hotel in Boca del Río, arriving around 6 pm.
