Orizaba & Coscomatepec Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Boca del Río between 8 am and 8:20 am, we will set off for the Pueblos Mágicos of Veracruz.

First, we will arrive in Orizaba and visit the Palacio de Hierro, a 19th-century art nouveau-inspired building. Afterward, we will take a cable car to the Cerro del Borrego hill to enjoy views of the town and surrounding tropical forests.

Next, we will head towards Coscomatepec. On our approach, we will see the Citlaltépetl Volcano. In town, we will visit the Church of San Juan Bautista, which has an image of the Christ of the Agony, one of only three replicas in the world.

We will also see the Parque de la Constitución and the Palacio Municipal, a historic colonial building. Additionally, we will visit a traditional bakery.

You will then have two hours of free time for lunch. Finally, we will return to Boca del Río, arriving at your hotel between 7 pm and 7:20 pm.
