Puffing Billy & Healesville Sanctuary Day Trip

Day Trip Details

The tour begins with pickup from the Windsor Hotel in Melbourne in the morning. We will head to Belgrave railway station to board the famous Puffing Billy steam train.

The train will stop along the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, providing a scenic start to the day. After this, the group will enjoy a magical train ride through the lush vegetation of the Dandenong Ranges.

Following the train ride, we will continue to Healesville Sanctuary, a refuge home to various species native to Australia. Here, you will see kangaroos, koalas, platypuses, dingos, emus, among other animals.

The final stop will be the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery, where you can sample specialties and have time to purchase sweets to take home.

The tour concludes with a return to the meeting point in Melbourne, totaling approximately 9 hours.
