Atuel Canyon and Valle Grande Trip

Pickup will be at your hotel in Mendoza at the scheduled time. We will travel south for a 3-hour drive covering 235 kilometers (146 miles) to San Rafael. After visiting the city, we will proceed to the Valle Grande reservoir, fed by the Atuel River, where you will have free time for photography, walking along the shore, lunch on your own, or optional activities like a raft ride down the Atuel River or a catamaran ride on the Valle Grande Dam Lake.

Next, we will enter the Atuel Canyon to view various rock formations created by natural forces, including El Lagarto, Los Viejos, Los Monstruos, the Enchanted City, El Mendigo, Los Jardines Colgantes.

Afterward, we will visit the El Nihuil Dam, which creates two artificial lakes for electricity generation, notable for its size.

In conclusion, we will drive back to Mendoza, covering 285 kilometers (177 miles) in approximately 3.5 hours, arriving at your hotel 14 to 16 hours after pickup.
