Cordon del Plata Provincial Park Trek

After picking you up at your hotel in Mendoza between 7:30 am and 8 am, we will drive along National Route 7 to the towns of Cacheuta and Potrerillos, with a brief stop at Potrerillos to admire its reservoir. We will then enjoy some traditional empanadas from Mendoza and a tasty infusion, before heading to the Vallecitos ski resort in Cordón del Plata Provincial Park. We will embark on a 6.5-hour trek of moderate difficulty, reaching a height of 12,600 feet above sea level.

The hike through the Quebrada de Arenales gorge brings us to Pico Andresito and Cerro Arenales, where we will observe native wildlife, followed by a trek to Cerro Lomas Blancas for panoramic views of the Cordón del Plata range. A picnic lunch with sandwiches or empanadas, fruit, alfajores, and other sweets will be provided.

After lunch, we will descend through the Morenas Coloradas valley, concluding the trek at the Vallecitos ski resort at 4 pm. We will return to your hotel in Mendoza, arriving between 5:30 pm and 6 pm.
