On our private day trip from Mendoza, you'll discover nature and history in San Juan. The tour includes visits to iconic places, the Zonda Gorge, and the Tulum Valley.

San Juan Private Day Trip

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza and drive to San Juan, the provincial capital. The historic tour begins at the birthplace of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, a notable 19th-century ruler. Next, we'll view the Juan Victoria Auditorium, home of the Escuela Superior de Música.

Next, we will visit the San Juan Museum of Natural Sciences, which features a collection of dinosaur fossils from the Ischigualasto Provincial Park. Following this, we will stop at the 25 de Mayo Square to see the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, inaugurated in 1979.

You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch in central San Juan. Afterward, we will explore the Zonda Gorge, near which are the Eduardo Copello racing circuit and the Garden of Poets showcasing sculptures of notable poets.

We will conclude at the Tulum Valley to visit the Merced del Estero winery, famous for its unique vines. After this, we return to your hotel in Mendoza by 9 pm.

This day trip includes pickup and drop off from hotels in central Mendoza. For remote locations, pickup will be from Paseo Sarmiento, 129.
