On our private day trip from Mendoza, you will explore the nature and history of this Argentine city, visiting iconic locations, the Zonda Gorge, and the Tulum Valley.

San Juan Private Day Trip

At 8 am, we will pick you up from your hotel in Mendoza and drive to San Juan, the capital of the province. Our tour begins with a visit to the birthplace of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento. We will then stop in front of the Juan Victoria Auditorium, home to the Escuela Superior de Música.

Next, we will tour the San Juan Museum of Natural Sciences, featuring an important exhibition of dinosaur fossils from the Ischigualasto Provincial Park. Afterward, we will visit the 25 de Mayo Square and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, inaugurated in 1979.

You will have 1 hour of free time for lunch in central San Juan. Post-lunch, we will explore the Zonda Gorge and view the Eduardo Copello racing circuit and the Garden of Poets, where we will admire sculptures of prominent poets.

We will complete our tour with a stop at the Tulum Valley, visiting the Merced del Estero, a renowned winery in San Juan, to tour its vineyards. We will return to your hotel in Mendoza by 9 pm.
