Discover the amazing wildlife of the Andes and travel along winding roads at 10,000 feet high above sea level when you take this fantastic trip to the Villavicencio Natural Reserve. You'll feel like you're on a safari as you admire these breathtaking landscapes.

Villavicencio Reserve Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Mendoza at 8 am, we'll head north to the Villavicencio Natural Reserve, 1 hour away. On the way, besides seeing the beautiful Cerro de la Cal hill, we'll make a stop at the monument of Canota, where you'll hear about its role in the independence of Chile and the liberator José de San Martín.

Once at the Villavicencio Reserve, we'll visit the interpretation center to learn about the area's flora and fauna. Species such as guanacos, foxes, wild cats, and black eagles inhabit this area, and with luck, you may see some up close. Following this, we'll explore the gardens of the Hotel Termas de Villavicencio and its chapel, a National Historical Monument. The trip concludes at the viewpoint of the snails, offering unique views of the area's winding roads.

We'll return to your hotel in Mendoza by 1 pm.
