Discover the amazing wildlife of the Andes and travel along winding roads at 10,000 feet high above sea level when you take this fantastic trip to the Villavicencio Natural Reserve. You'll feel like you're on a safari as you admire these breathtaking landscapes.

Villavicencio Reserve Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in Mendoza at 8 am, we'll head north to the Villavicencio Natural Reserve, 1 hour away. On the way, we will see the beautiful Cerro de la Cal hill and will stop at the monument of Canota, learning about its role in the independence of Chile and the liberator José de San Martín.

At the Villavicencio Reserve, we will stop at its interpretation center to discover the area's flora and fauna, including guanacos, foxes, wild cats, and black eagles. With luck, you may see some of these animals up close. We will then explore the gardens of the Hotel Termas de Villavicencio and its chapel, a National Historical Monument. The last stop is at the viewpoint of the snails, offering unique views of the winding roads.

We will finish the excursion by returning to your hotel in Mendoza at 1 pm.
