San José Sloth & Birdwatching

At your preferred time, our meeting point will be Calle La Cruz, where we will embark on a tour designed to immerse ourselves in the rich flora and fauna of Costa Rica. This activity entails visiting two urban parks that serve as habitats for various birds and sloths.

Our first stop is a lush urban forest where we'll spend an hour observing the numerous bird species that call this area home. A spotting scope will be provided to let us glimpse some of the more elusive wildlife found in the trees.

As we explore, we will share intriguing facts about the avian species present and discuss the various insects and tropical blossoms that flourish in San José. You’ll gain enriching knowledge throughout this encounter!

Next, we will proceed to the second park, situated within the University of Costa Rica. Are you curious about the inhabitants of the treetops here? While walking around the campus, we will identify several sloths and delve into their unique slow-paced lifestyles and other captivating details.

After two and a half hours filled with exploration, we will conclude our adventure back at the starting point.
