Enjoy the fauna of Costa Rica in this bird and sloth-watching activity in San José. We'll walk through urban forests to check out the animals that live there and learn interesting facts about the species we see.

San José Sloth & Birdwatching

At the time of your choice, we'll meet on Calle La Cruz to start a tour that will allow us to enjoy the flora and fauna of Costa Rica. During the activity, we'll visit two urban parks to see the birds and sloths that live there.

We'll spend one hour touring the first forest, where we'll observe the dozens of birds that inhabit this area. A spotting scope will be provided to enhance our viewing experience of more concealed animals.

We will cover various facts about different birds and discuss the insects and tropical flowers found in San José.

Subsequently, we'll proceed to the second park at the University of Costa Rica. While walking through the campus grounds, we'll spot several sloths and discuss their slow metabolism and other facts.

After two and a half hours of exploring, we'll conclude the tour at the starting point.
