Starting the day with an early start, we'll head to the ancient Maya city of Chichén Itzá.

Arriving at Chichén Itzá, the first stop will be the pyramid dedicated to the God Kukulkán, known as “El Castillo”. Along with your guide, we'll explore the secrets of this temple that dominated the religious life of Chichén Itzá.

The guided tour continues with the history of Chichén Itzá and the Temple of the Warriors: a pyramid surrounded by columns depicting war scenes.

The tour also visits significant buildings, including El Osario, a pyramid with a cave inside, and El Caracol observatory, a structure reflecting the Mayans' advanced astronomical knowledge.

You will have one hour of free time to explore the site and take pictures. Following this, we'll proceed to a local restaurant for a buffet lunch featuring local specialties like roast chicken, pork, rice, beans, and handmade tortillas.

In the afternoon, we'll visit a nearby cenote, a natural pool formed when a cave's roof collapses. You'll have 30 minutes to swim, so bring a swimsuit and towel.

The tour concludes back at the meeting point in Merida, between 9 to 10 hours later.
