Immerse yourself in the culture of the Mayans with this trip to Chichen Itzá. At night, you'll enjoy a fascinating light and sound show above the Kukulkán Pyramid.

Description

At the time indicated, we'll collect you from your hotel in Mérida. After 2.5 hours by minibus, we'll arrive at the Chichen Itzá archaeological site.

The monuments of the Maya city, declared a World Heritage Site, are closed at night; however, we'll see "The Castle" from outside. This pyramid was once the centre of religious life in Chichen Itzá. We will explore the deities to which it was dedicated during the tour.

Next, it will be time for the "Kukulkán Nights" show. In the darkness of the night, we'll observe 3-D projections above the Kukulkán Pyramid, which will enhance our understanding of Mayan culture through light and sound.

We'll return to the hotel in Mérida late that night.
