On this guided day trip to Chichén Itzá, you'll visit El Castillo, the Temple of the Warriors, and El Caracol observatory as part of your exploration of this significant Maya city. You'll also swim in the Xcajum Cenote.

Day Trip Details

Pickup will be at the designated time at Paseo 60, in the center of Mérida, followed by a journey of 1 hour and 40 minutes to Chichén Itzá.

Upon arrival, a guided tour of 1 hour of the archaeological site will take place. Notable sights include the pyramid dedicated to God Kukulkán, known as El Castillo, as well as the Temple of the Warriors, characterized by war scenes carved into columns. Other significant structures include El Osario and the El Caracol observatory. Following the guided portion, you'll have 1 hour of free time to explore the site.

After the tour, the next destination is Xcajum Cenote, where you will spend 2 hours swimming in the clear waters. It is recommended to bring a bathing suit and a towel. A buffet-style lunch featuring regional dishes such as roast chicken or pork, rice, beans, and handmade tortillas will be provided.

Finally, return to Mérida is expected to occur 9 to 10 hours after the start of the trip.
