Day Trip to Chichén Itzá, Izamal, & the Xcajum Cenote

Come with us to discover Mayan culture and enjoy a day full of history and adventure on this day trip to Chichén Itzá, the Xcajum Cenote, and the Magical Village of Izamal.

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at Hidalgo Park in Merida to begin our journey to Chichén Itzá. During the 1.5-hour journey, we will provide an overview of Mayan culture to enhance your trip. Upon arrival at the Chichén Itzá archaeological site, you will have a 1-hour visit with guides of Mayan heritage who will share the history of this site. Following this, you will have 1 hour of free time to further explore the ruins.

Next, we will head to the Xcajum Cenote, where you can swim in its crystal-clear waters. After a few hours of relaxation, we will enjoy a buffet-style lunch featuring Yucatecan cuisine.

After lunch, we will proceed to Izamal. During the journey, we will share the history of this Magical Village. Upon arrival, we will explore its charming streets with yellow houses, visit the Kinich Kak Mo Mayan temple, and the San Antonio de Padua Convent.

Finally, we will return to Merida, concluding this 10.5-hour day trip at our initial meeting point.
