Exploration of Homún & Eknakán Cenotes
Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup in Mérida, followed by a drive towards the village of Eknakán. Along the way, a brief stop will be made for those who wish to enjoy a breakfast at their leisure.
Upon reaching Eknakán, the excursion will start at the Church of San José, an exquisite neo-Gothic structure built in the early 1900s, reminiscent of various European cathedrals. Participants will get to explore the town, taking in the local food vendors and the architecture transformed by the affluent landowners of the area.
Afterward, we will continue our journey to Homún, renowned within the Yucatán peninsula for its stunning cenotes. Here, we will visit several cenotes to observe the diverse types available: closed, semi-open, and open-air.
