Description

At the scheduled time, we'll collect you from your hotel in Mérida to begin our trip along the famous and mysterious Puuc Route. The word "Puuc" means mountain or hill. This tour includes exploring the archaeological jewels of the Maya civilization in the Yucateca region. The first stop will be at Labná, an ancient Maya city known for its stone carvings. We'll visit Kabah, Sayil, and Xlapak, also part of the Puuc Route, where we’ll discuss their structures and learn about Maya architecture and its symbolism.

Next, we'll explore the majestic city of Uxmal, an important Maya archaeological site in Mexico. Highlights include the Soothsayer's Pyramid and Governor's Palace. Midway through the tour, we’ll stop for a Yucateca lunch at a local restaurant. After the meal, we’ll return to Mérida, concluding the trip.
