On this excursion to Sisal and Celestun, we'll visit a Magical Town and have free time for a boat ride and flamingo watching.

Sisal & Celestún Tour

At the designated time, hotel pickup in Merida will commence the excursion to Sisal, a Magical Town.

Upon arrival, we will visit the fort of Santiago, which includes its lighthouse and the old maritime customs house.

Next, we will visit the Sisal dock, providing free time to explore the town and enjoy drinks at local restaurants.

Following Sisal, we will proceed to Celestún, where we will discuss the historical and cultural significance of the ports of Celestún and Sisal. At the 'ecotouristic parador of Celestún', you will have free time for a boat ride in the estuary to view flamingos. Visiting the Isla de los Pájaros and the Ojo de Agua lagoon is also recommended.

If opting out of the boat ride, you can relax on the beach of Celestún and explore various local restaurants known for seafood and Yucatecan cuisine.

We will regroup for the return to Merida, with hotel drop-off around 7 pm.
