Sisal & Celestún Tour

At the indicated time we'll pick you up at your hotel in Merida to start this excursion to Sisal, a Mexican Magic Town. Upon arrival, we'll visit the fort of Santiago, including its lighthouse and the old maritime customs house, which facilitated exports to the United States and Europe.

We will then head to the Sisal dock, where you will have free time to explore the town and dine at one of its restaurants.

Next, we will travel to Celestún, sharing insights on the historical and cultural significance of both Celestún and Sisal. In Celestún, you will have free time at the ecotouristic parador to take a boat ride along the estuary and observe the flamingos. The Isla de los Pájaros and the Ojo de Agua lagoon are also recommended for visits.

If you opt not to take the boat trip, you can spend time on the beach of Celestún, enjoying the local cuisine at various restaurants that specialize in seafood and Yucatecan dishes.

We will reconvene for the return trip to Merida, with drop-off at your hotel around 7 pm.
