This excursion to Sisal and Celestun invites you to explore one of Mexico's charming Magical Towns, offering opportunities for relaxation and enjoyment, including a boat ride and flamingo watching.

Your adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Merida at the scheduled time, where we set off toward Sisal, a picturesque Mexican Magic Town.

Upon our arrival, our first stop will be the renowned Fort of Santiago. Here, you will be able to admire the historic lighthouse and the old customs house, which served as a point of export for goods bound for the United States and Europe.

Next, we proceed to Sisal dock, where you will have about an hour of leisure time to wander through the town and enjoy a drink at one of its local eateries.

After exploring Sisal, we will make our way to Celestún. During the journey, we’ll share insights about the rich history and cultural significance of both the Celestún and Sisal ports. Once we arrive, we will head to the ecotouristic parador of Celestún, where you can enjoy free time for a boat ride along the estuary, witnessing the beautiful flamingos that inhabit the area. We also suggest visiting Isla de los Pájaros and the enchanting Ojo de Agua lagoon.

For those who prefer to stay on land, you can instead relax on the beach of Celestún and savor the culinary delights offered by its many restaurants, featuring delicious options from both seafood and Yucatecan cuisine.

As the day concludes, we will regroup for our journey back to Merida, ensuring you are returned to your hotel by approximately 7 pm.
