Visit Xcambo and Salt Mines

Before visiting the archaeological zone of Xcambo we will visit the salt mines where we will be able to observe the process and how the Mayans practiced it in the past in that area.

A perfect conviction between the Xcambo archaeological zone that is located on some salt ponds where if we are lucky we can see some flamingos around us. The name of Xcambó comes from the Maya which means Celestial Crocodile or Place where barter is carried out. Splendid natural showcase that combines peaceful beaches and an archaeological zone

Before finishing the tour we will visit the beautiful Port of Progreso where you can sunbathe, swim and appreciate the beautiful view of the sea where we will have free time.
