We will meet at the Messina port to board a bus to Castelmola, a medieval village at one thousand seven hundred metres above sea level. At the panoramic viewpoint, enjoy views of Mount Etna, the tallest volcano in Europe, and the stunning Giardini-Naxos bay.

After exploring key streets and locations, we will arrive in Taormina, focusing on Corso Umberto, where "Valeria," the ancient Roman road, can be admired. This historic area provides views of the sea with Mount Etna in the background. In Taormina, we'll visit churches, monuments, and exclusive shops and restaurants where you can try various local delicacies (not included).

Enhance your itinerary with a guided tour of the Taormina Greek Theatre, built in the 3rd century A.D. This option allows you to visit this ancient site, the second-largest classical theatre in Sicily.

Shore Excursion

This day trip is available as a shore excursion for cruise passengers. If applicable, please indicate the name of your boat when making the reservation. We will be in the disembarkation area half an hour after the ship's arrival.
