Taormina Day Trip + Winery Tour

The tour departs from Messina port, heading towards Taormina, a historic town located about an hour's drive away on the east coast of Sicily. Accompanied by an English-speaking guide, the guided tour of Taormina includes exploration of its ancient churches and monuments. Highlights include a stroll down Corso Umberto and through Piazza IX Aprile.

Following the tour of Taormina, the group will proceed to Mount Etna, Europe's largest active volcano at 3,300 meters. The region's climate and soil are ideal for vine cultivation. A visit to a local winery will provide insights into the production of local wines.

The winery tour includes a wine tasting of red, white, and rosé wines, accompanied by local delicacies such as salami, olives, local cheeses, and Sicilian-style pasta.

After a day of sightseeing, the group will return to Messina.

Cruises

This excursion is available for cruise passengers. When making a reservation, indicate the name of your boat. The group will wait in the disembarkation area half an hour after the cruise ship's scheduled docking time.

Minimum Participants

Between the 17th of November and the 31st of March, the tour will proceed only if a minimum of 8 participants is met. Otherwise, alternative options will be offered.
