Tindari & Milazzo Excursion

At the time of your choice, we'll meet you on Via I Settembre. From here, we'll travel to the city of Tindari, enjoying views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands along the way.

After about an hour's drive, we'll reach our destination. Our first stop will be a viewpoint to admire the scenery of the Nebrodi Mountains and take photos.

Next, we'll visit the Sanctuary of Tindari, home to the Black Madonna sculpture carved in Constantinople over ten centuries ago, attracting many pilgrims annually.

After exploring the temple, the guide will lead us to the archaeological ruins of Tindari, where you can see a well-preserved Greek theater, ancient walls, Roman mosaics, and a basilica from the 4th century B.C. We'll discuss the foundation of the ancient city of Tyndaris.

We will then travel an hour to Milazzo. Upon arrival, we'll stroll through the historic center with its churches and colorful houses, and explore the Castello di Milazzo, a fortress remodeled by various civilizations.

After seven hours of activities, the excursion will conclude with our arrival at the starting point in Messina.
