Half-Day Trip

The tour begins with pickup from your hotel in Kalambaka or Kastraki. A local tour assistant will provide insights into the history of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will visit all 6 monasteries, with the opportunity to enter three for a deeper understanding. The audio guide will explain the rock formations' history. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours before returning to your hotel.

Half-Day Trip at Sunset

This option explores Meteora under the sunset. Accompanied by a local tour assistant and an audio guide, you will delve into Meteora's traditions and history. The tour includes a visit to either the Agios Stefanos or Saint Nicholas monasteries, and the Byzantine Church of the Virgin Mary in Kalambaka to admire its architecture. You will also explore the Hermetic Caves of Badova for insights into early Christian hermits' lives. The experience culminates with a picturesque sunset over Meteora before returning to your hotel after 4 hours.
